Here are some miscellaneous tidbits! --- Gate Pass - There will only be ONE gate pass available the entire season & it cannot be replaced this season!!! We will keep it in the kitchen island drawer. Why do you need it? In order to get into the Seven Springs main resort/lodge area, you must pass the main gate where they will stop you & ask your business. (Please note that you do NOT need to go past the gate in order to get to your house. However you might want to go to the lodge at some other point in time to pick up rental skis, pick up your key to the house, replace a lost key, drive to the bars (if you didn't take the shuttle or ski down), or just plain see the sights or use other facilities. You can just drive through with our House gate pass. Otherwise, you MIGHT have to pay for entry. (never happened to any of us!) Just say you are picking up/dropping off people & will be right out. The pass just makes it easier. PLEASE don't loose it, don't take it home in your car! Return it to the house before going home. Thanks!! --- Resort Shuttle - We are at stop #24. It runs about every 15 minutes & takes you down to the lodge & other activites...as well as back up the mountain at night after you've partied down below!! --- Parking in our lot - no pass needed. --- Lift tickets, ski school & rentals - check the website for prices, etc. www.7springs.com --- Amenities - Don't forget to enjoy the hot tubs, swimming pool, game rooms, bowling, shopping, roller blading/skating, snow tubing, happy hours in the bars, great food at the restaurants, Massage center, Mountain Fitness Room, Handball/Racquetball Courts, Mini-golf, Dancing in the Matterhorn Lounge, Sleigh rides, and don't forget fine dining at Helen's restaurant! These activities & more await you!! --- Reminder - Guest fees aren't negotiable! --- Our lease can be cancelled for smoking & pets in the condo! --- Please give advance notice for large parties of guests, so we can let members know. --- NO shoes past the front door!!! --- Most of the bathrooms in the house have 2 entrances & you need to lock BOTH doors if you don't want to be surprised!! BUT, please remember to unlock them when you're done! --- Until they open more trails in late December & there is snow behind our house, you have to either take the shuttle down the mountain, or drive down & park in the lot. --- The night drive up the mountain is pitch black & can be quite a challenge after a few bloody mary's in the Foggy Goggle. :-) --- The toll on the PA turnpike is $2.20 at exit 10. --- Try to resist joining the Foggy Goggle happy hour at 3pm!!! It makes it very dificult to dance later on at the Matterhorn! :-) --- NO Shoes past the front door & NEVER shoes in the kitchen!!! --- The firewood that is in the little hut in FRONT of the house is NOT for us. It is for condo-owners use only. Use our balcony wood. --- The trash dumpster is located in the parking lot, out front & to the left. --- The shuttle will pick you up from anywhere in the resort, 24 hours a day, just pick up a house phone & ask them to take you home. --- There is a toaster, coffee maker, microwave & iron. No blender. --- The house has towels & washcloths which are in the bathrooms, as well as the supply closet. You must wash, dry & re-fold what you use. (detergent is in the supply closet). --- Sheets & comforters/blankets & pillows are provided for the beds. After using, WASH, dry & make the bed, for the next members. --- Place guest fees in the guest fee lock box in kitchen. --- Please leave the house the way you found it!! It looks great & you'll have a wonderful time!! |
