Rule # 4 - House Use Notification  Ski House Voice Line.  Call the Ski House Voice Line, to notify Claudia & other house members of your intended house use each weekend!  The moment you know of your plans - you must call the voice line!!  It is updated regularly.  We will hold bed space for
The following 11 rules have served us well in the past.  House members & all guests are expected to follow these rules or be subject to removal as a house member (or guest) without a refund!  (not to mention those lashes with the wet noodle & the dirty looks from the rest of us).

Rule #1 - Beds (or lack thereof)) - 3 bedrooms plus loft; (2 queens, 2 twins, 1 double futon sleeper).  That means that there are 12  "bed spots."

The order of bed space is as follows:
House member, paying guest, paying child, free child, random stranger you meet on the slopes or in the Foggy Goggle.  ;-)  **Note that this is a bed priority, NOT a "room" priority.  A member is not entitled to an entire bedroom...so move over & make friends!  :-)  (Hot Tip - Keep an emergency bed in your trunk!  A deflated air mattress plus 1 cold blowing hair dryer and ta-da!  A bed fit for a ski-King/Queen!) We highly recommend
the aero-mattresses.
*** *Exception to rule above:  Your Ski House Hosts, Claudia & Richard, always have priority to bedroom #3 upstairs when either of them are at the house.  This is not the master bedroom, rather a smaller bedroom upstairs with the uncofortable double bed.

Other than the exception above, NO reserving beds - 1st to arrive & claim wins .
Rule # 2 - No Smoking in the Ski Haus. (use the front stoop, please.) AND No Pets!!!  These are RESORT RULES!!! (Don't litter outside the house.  Pick up your cigarette butts & trash!) (Please shut the front door all the way, when on the front steps smoking.)

Rule # 3 - Guest fees!! We love guests!! Bring them often!! :-)  They keep us rollin' in the goodies!!
Guest fee is $30/night.  $40 on a holiday weekend.  No exceptions! (holiday rates apply to Friday, Sat. & Sun.).  A house member's children under age 16 (driving age), are free (have sleeping bag will travel!)  All other children, regardless of age, must pay the guest fee. All paying guests are entitled to have full use of the house, including food, supplies, alcohol, etc.  (within reason - Please don't eat/drink us out of house & home!)

Guest fees are due at the beginning of the weekend & are to be placed in the house cash box in the kitchen OR given to Claudia or Richard.  (Cash, or check made out to Claudia Rodgers.)  MEMBERs are responsible for their unpaid guest's fees &/or bounced checks.  Guest fees will be used for house supplies, maid fee, firewood, etc.
members - meaning to give it to a paying guest, if we know you're coming.  If your plans change, call the voice line again.  Please be considerate & cancel using the voice line, so we don't have paying guests sleeping on the floor when they can have your bed space.  Leave a message telling Claudia how many guests you'll be bringing,  when you'll arrive & how long you'll be staying.  For large groups of guests, even druing the week, please plan in advance & let Claudia know early.

Rule # 4 - A Clean House!!
All members and guests are responsible for cleaning their bedroom/sleeping area AND the nearest bathroom.  The living room and kitchen areas (if no one slept there) are the responsibility of all members
& guests.  Cleaning = a quick vacum, empty trash, wipe surfaces, clean kitchen & bathroom surfaces & floors, turn on dishwasher, wash/dry & fold used sheets (unless you brought your own).  Throw out old food in the fridge!  One maid visit to our house costs $70.  Last year we never had to use them!! Let's keep it that way.
Rule # 6 - Break Not, Repair Not!!
Repair for damage to the unit & its contents is the financial responsibility of the members (s) who broke the item or of the member who's guest broke the item.  (All tattle telling, ratting out and squealing by little birdies is much appreciated!)
Rule # 7 - Telephone Use
NO long distance calls from the Winter house phone!!!!  Bring your cell or use a calling card!  (If necessary, investigative research will be done (by a family friend
named Guido) in order to charge the member responsible!)
Rule # 8 -Fireplace Safety
Pyromaniacs resist temptation! Put out fire when leaving the house or goin to sleep.  Please!  The fireplaces are normally locked for weekend renters, but are open
for us seasonal renters, because we're supposed to be more responsible!!  Firewood costs $100/cord and must be ordered & paid for at the seasonal rental office by Claudia.
Rule # 9 - NO Shoes Past the Front Door!
Do not walk around the house in wet snowboots, skiboots, wet shoes, etc.  Leave wet items at the front door!  Upon entering the
house, shoes must be removed & placed on the mats near the front door!
We're really strict on this one!!
Rule # 10 - Shhhhhhhh!
You early morning risers heading out to ski the first tracks at 8am, and/or you drunken party animals staggering in at 3am & heading for the kitchen for a food raid, please be considerate of
those who are still sleeping -- especially those in the loft!!  Pig out quietly!
Rule # 11 - HAVE A GREAT TIME IN OUR WINTER HOUSE!!!
Ski, snowboard, relax, hang out, swim, play putt putt golf, go snow tubing, bowl, watch a video, meet new friends, do absolutely nothing or do everything!  ENJOY!
